Ready Weapons... Aim... FIRE!
The Tau Empire: A young, humanoid and technologically-advanced intelligent race who are fighting to expand their interstellar empire and a philosophical concept they call the Greater Good. The Tau claim to be a peaceful race when possible, asking if others will join their cause voluntarily instead of fighting. However, if their peaceful overtures are refused, the Tau may well decide to conquer a planet and add it to their growing interstellar empire for the greater good, destroying anyone who stands against their benign expansions.
The CIS: Perhaps the largest droid army ever assembled, the army of the CIS (which stands for Confederacy of Independent Systems) outnumbered the clone soldiers of the Republic 100 to 1. More the once the droids secured victory by simply crushing their enemies in a sea of metal bodies. The CIS put fear in the hearts of countless citizens of the Republic, as few could stand before it for long before being mowed down by blaster fire. Hearts of steel, skin of iron, oil and electricity in their veins, the CIS march every onward.
Now these two armies will find their tactics and units being put to the test. Can the Tau fight off the waves of droids constantly rolling off the assembly line? Can the CIS adapt to the constantly changing, hit and run style tactics brought by the various Tau castes? Blasters and Pulse Rifles, Fire Warriors and Battle Droids, elite commandos from both sides giving it their all to promote their unique agendas... But in the end, only one can triumph. Who, my dear viewers, do you think will walk away...

The Tau hands down. Better weapons, more advanced technology, superior military command structure and leadership, and better quality of warrior.
Trust me I'm not trying to shit on the CIS. It's just a fact that the Tau have an edge over them in almost every category, including naval power. The only thing the CIS might have over them is numbers, but that's never been a problem for the Tau in most cases.
